We are a team of fashion-industry insiders challenging the status quo
Our mission: to give visibility into your wardrobe to empower better decision-making and more effortless style
Our closets *should* feel like a fun fashion playground for endless self-discovery, but instead, they can end up feeling like a guilt-inducing fashion graveyard where items we once loved collect dust. We feel out of control, and without control, it’s easy to fall into decisions that aren’t aligned with our values.
Our collective wardrobes have become disposable
It’s a near-universal experience to look inside your closet and think, “I have nothing to wear!” The fashion industry wants us to believe the solution is to buy something new, and so we buy individual pieces, but we live life in outfits. Without visibility into our wardrobes and a style system to make all of our items work together, that shiny new item languishes in the back of our closet and is worn only a few times before getting tossed. Rinse and repeat, without ever feeling smarter or more stylish.
Collectively, we are buying and then throwing away more than ever before. The number of garments produced each year has doubled since 2000, and is now above 100 billion per year (billion...with a b!), and 87% of it eventually ends up in landfill or incinerated.

We’re here to break the cycle
As fashion-industry insiders, we founded Indyx to break the cycle of overwhelm and overconsumption. Yidi was tired of watching brands aimlessly overproduce. Devon was tired of selling clothes that nobody really needed. We believe personal styling is empowering and should be universally accessible.
We are here to change how we all get dressed. We don’t need more clothes, we need more intentional wardrobes, and we’re here to help empower you to find yours.
